I'm looking at doing a headlamp conversion over spring on my mk3 just after ideas was thinkin polo gti lights ??

that would just be ugly. different tho

theres a guy on polo3 (optima) and hes fitted a mk4 grille along with mk3 polo inpro lights, looks very mk4/5 ish from the front, cant see the whole mk4 or 5 headlamp assy fitting very well, let alone looking anything like right for the car.

mk3's have straight lines

dont think the rounded mk4 headlights would look alrite really

I'm open to ideas people not just vag lights any manufactor , old bmw 3 series lights ??saw a reg 5 gt turbo with them once looked amazin , head and tail lights remember

i want to mek summt different to get in mags , I'm already lowerd on 15s soon to be smooth bumpers with a custom lower grill , strait front grill ,rs turbo artches and skirts , frenched boot , so lookin at 2000 - 2008 polo rear lights depends what comes up on ebay , and ideas for the fronts

Fuck that (pardon my french). If your putting it in a mag with a frenched boot and that then just weld a plate over the indicators and tint the headlights, putting your indicators into OEM foglamps on the bumper would be majorly cool.... *Patent Pending*

I've seen a purple mk2 golf with a bwm 3 series front that was very tasty. You need too look at cars of the era i guess that have a unique look.

How hard was it ftting those rs arches out of interest mate? Got any pics. Id be interested too see how this build is looking!

headlights allready tinted not finished artches yet they are going in smoooth , one is smooved in 3 to go , was thinkin 2000 onward rear lights , duno bout front but with a modified mk2 golf big bumper ,the idea of 3 series lights sounds good now , can text pics cant upload due to no upload lead , pm you are num for pics or wait till rr day

it wont be headlamp converted by the rr day but will have all the artchess and sideskirts molded in, back lights converson when i can get some , allready on 15s and frenched my boot not bad sayin paid 100 for the car n bout 80 moding it

headlight swaps only work if they are actually interchangable! ie golf/jetta.

if you wanna be "different" why dont you go get a mahoosive bodykit an spoiler? dont see many kitted mk3's out there...

also, 'lemph' GET A FUCKING JOB, dont say you cant find one, as the railway are always hiring, see, i even did the hard work for you...

if i were going to do a headlight conversion on a mk3 i'd use audi 90 or audi coupe lights

subtle, look good and would suite the lines of the polo well
