Had these lying around for a few months. had them refurb'd satin black centre and red outer lip. brand new BBS bolts. never ended up fitting them to my polo. due to being in storage they have got a couple of scratches on the lips. nothing major, easy repaired for around £20. i need to get them sold cause I'm moving.

215 is the width in mm, 40 is the tyre wall thickness as a percentage of the width and 17 is the diameter of the wheel it fits in inches. (Simple isn't it, metric, imperial and percentage all in one)

it doesnt all depend on how wide the wheels/tyres are, it depends on the offset (aka ET) of the wheels also..

the higher the number, the further into the centre of the car the wheel sits iirc..
