Featured Replies

alrite chaps

not guna like duin this.. but new car looks to force sale

its a mk3 polo GT genuine from the factory in white

Mods

lowered 60mm on jackson tuning shocks n springs replaced bush's bolts e.t.c when fitted - is a stiff ride

15x7 brock B2's with 4 good tyres

front splitter

clear indicators

clear side repeators

OEM front fog lights

thats all i can think of at the moment

Engine

very strong running engine, comes with 4branch decat to mid box then uprated backbox

dizzy cap - rotor arm

spark plugs

ignition coil

just had a oil change and filter

thermostat

cleaned the heater matrix out, so that works good now, slight wine on 1-2 settings tho

again, sure av missed some bits out

Gearbox

did have a rebuild before i got it...about 10k ago..runs sweet no whine's clunks clutch was replaced so loads of life left in that

Other

has had 2 new front wheel bearings, but the left one doesnt sound right and pulls to the left slightly..so included in the sale am giving a strut with new hub and bearing installed..just wants putting on the car

there are 2 rust patches near the front of the drivers door...cant think of any others, i replaced the boot due to a rust problem, now it looks great

overall, the shell is pretty damn good for its age! couple of really small parking dings which is just shown as a break in the pin stripe

Interior

will be sold with the standard GT interior that are in good condition, been stored for the last year as i have been running leather recaro's...as i remember the seats have no fag burns, slight saggin on the bolster, but thats all

overall, my GT is a great car..its my daily and easily gets 40+mpg..it pulls well is a massive amount of fun and sounds amazing in tunnels not forgetting spitting the odd flame, which reminds me..the old down pipe is available come MOT time.

am really going to miss this car, i wont sell it to just anyone, its been my pride and joy for well over a year. you dont buy it and spank it home, blow it up and expect to get your money back

MOT - febuary

Tax - must be about 9 months..will go and check

Price

the car owes me alot..

so am asking 1400 ono with all the mods e.t.c

comes with a book of service history including the original receipt

Yeah the GTi might be good now but you wait until the gearbox shits its pants and then you will wish you had kept the GT. They don't feel that quick either :-(

Anyways, i have seen this GT in the flesh when neil came to grab some bits from me and i was taken aback by how clean it is. Seriously cool car.
