Hopefully they have learnt the need to change and use the money to build better and more efficient cars.

Personally I feel the decision was the correct one to make, so many jobs in the US are dependant upon it and therefore it wouldn't suprise me if there wasn't a knock on effect here as well with Opel etc.

Part of me is sad though if this will be the last generation of muscle cars and stupidly large trucks just because I like variety and the sheer anti-pc'ness that those vehicles provide, oh well..

na i recon they'll stick with the same designers etc and still make awsome looking muscle cars but make few of them and make better engines, ie instead of a 6.2 v8 they may tone it down and wack a turbo in there to increase efficiency

I know its not the true muscle car thing to do but i'll work imo.

or just do most with a normal engine and once in a while go nuts
