what the metro like to dive ??

Well mine is like a gocart because its got MGF suspension on the front and metro gti rear suspension it's also been individualised with gti ARB's. But saying that my mates metro dont handle too bad and thats standard. And if you get the right engine in them there isn't much that can keep up. Mines only a 1.4 8v atm and that doesent hang about.

Well i cant really compare it to my polo because its a 1.0l and it's got streached (sp) tyres so i dont really give it some. But it out handles some of the hot hatches around islands a 205 gti comes to mind

Well a frend of mine has just brought a VVC engine P&P head 4 branch manifold and mgf front brakes all ready on the front subframe for £350 so that is the plan but not on my current metro. I'm looking for a 3 or 5 door shell with as least rust as possible in bog standard spec so it will be a bit of a sleeper. Plus another frend has just brought a mint metro GSI for £30 so i need to pull my finger out.

but i need to sell all the polo parts before i can do any think

You should defo get a metro they are great fun and very cheap. No i won't be selling the polo because it's not costing anything atm so any money i earn is going straight on a metro.

Here is a good website if you are interested in metro's/R100's you could prob pick up a GTI VVC up on here for about £1000

i think i would like to do the conversion myself so i could get used to how it drives before its got the vvc in it and so i know what work has been done to it
