Insurance Valuation Request.

Featured Replies

Well I'm not happy with the value that has been put on my G40 by the insurance company as an "agreed value" so I thaught I'd come here for some expert opinions.

The car is a K reg with factory sunroof, and factory electric windows. It had a Jabba rebuilt charger fitted a couple of years back and ran strongly on the rollers, Nakamichi CD400 head unit and Focal Speekers in Audioscape door pods. 95,202 on the clock (documents to back it up). Drives fine with some cosmetic rust where the grill clips in at the top.

Unfortunatly they are now the only classic car company my broker deals with after NU stopped doing them.

I've valued mine at £3k.

That's rather closer to what I think it's worth, they are saying only £1000, not much of an agreed value when we are so far apart.

1000, thats an insult

i got a agree'd valuation on the GT that was higher than that

2k+ so if it does get written off you can replace it.

Moved to appropriate section

id say 2k+ as there wont be many left for less tell you are insureance i hope you are only insuring the engine for 1k lol
