1999 Seat Arosa Tax'd Mot'd Cheap Drive Away Daily

Featured Replies

Her 1 litre SE Seat Arosa SE, on a V Reg.

She has had it for I think 6 years, and she is the second owner I beleive, the first owner was an old man.

The car is the 1 litre SE, its a fairly basic car. Although it has got Power Steering, and Electric Windows (althought the drivers side squueks a bit).

The car has a fair amount of history and recently has had a fair few parts changed.

A new Camshaft sensor.

New Cambelt.

New spark plugs.

New oil filter

New oil.

A while ago it had the centre section of the exhaust replaced.

Oh and we had a few problems with getting reverse gear so the whole pedal assembely was removed and a new one replaced.

BAD Points

The car has a few grazes but nothing serious and I am sure they could be polished out, from what we can see there is a graze on the front bumper, so a bit of red paint, and on the top of the rear bumper is a scratch where I put my BMX in the car and the pedal caught the bumper

By the side of the windscreen the is another graze where a car park barrier came down on the roof, again not that noticable I am just being honest.

The inside needs cleaning up, we have had mats on the original beige carpets so they are clean but the seats are quite dirty as are the door cards, but I am sure they could clean up.

Car since having the work and new parts fitted has developed a misfire, since I have my mk3 and she is now driving her new car this car is surplus to requirements, so I am asking for £500 firm, I want my drive way back so this super cheap car, cheap to insure, tax and drive, £30 fills the tank and this will last for a week easily. So come and drive this away.

The car has about 72k on the clock but what with the work carried out it should keep soldiering on for a while longer.

MOT and TAX till May.

Car is in Norwich

Any diagnosis on what the misfire is? I've had a scout on google for usual problems for misfires on the arosas, and it seems a common problem to which noone has any answers.

If you was closer i would of had this! Bump for a bargain mate!

you would get more than that on ebay!
