I know shaun_89 and Rick_Gee both own blue ones, but I'm not sure if theirs are Royal Blue.

Often confused with Royal Blue which has paint code LA5U if you want to check yours. Most of the Windsor blue G40's were 1993-1994 registered cars.

Sounds like it is... I got my Hella grille from him via ebay and he sent me a couple of pics of his car, he was from donny.

this will all becoming out , because i`ve got to rebuild the engine , charger and put a new clutch in due to an oil pump :x:-(

i hope in afew year to get enough money together to make the hole in the roof disapear  you are lucky

done much to yours (piccy`s)

pretty sure we scrapped awindsor blue but it was an absolute fuckin mess, major repair worl bodged on the chassis leg all rotten, bulkhead rotten, floor pan, roof, a pillars, the lot!!

  • Author

Woop woop, yeah i do have a windsor blue G40 :D (the best colour) and yeah the easy way to tell if yours is windsor blue is they do turn purple in the sun, not that we get much...

How it is now....

Well not exactly as its off the road as it needs a lot of work to bring it back to where a car like this should be!

ah love it on the audi`s mate

i`ve been waiting to see you pop up ? its definatly the best colour i think

what mirrors did you have on it , their different to anything i`ve seen before !

seems like the windsors are few and far between , do you know of any others ?

what needs doing to yours ? as if youve read the thread you know what i need to do to mine !

I know there is one in the leeds area but know nothing of it.

It needs it engine re-built, as its leaking oil, and just needs general TLC after so many years. Also my roof paint has lots lacquer too, seems like it may be a common thing!!

When my engine is out, I'm also planning a full respray and sort all the rust that has started to come thru!

Thanks for the comment about the wheels, i like them too and haven't seen any others with them on :D
