thought i would update you all so you dont forget bout me

as some of you may no , i got my second 6n few months back and crashed it about 2 months ago :( the day after gettin my 16v front smoothed

since then i have been working my nuts off rebuilding it to how it was + better , its going to be only for shows now to avoid a decent polo getting written off .

today the post man deliverd some goodies for me from germany , really impressed as they both came within 2 days

got the fk powerlook headlights and got 370mm pressed plates , also picked up a 16v front off jay_t and smoothed the grilles out myself and primed it and wacked it on for now , also picked up a mk5 splitter but its not on proply as its a right bitch to fit

its going into the bodyshop on the 12th to have a front end respray and the front recess smoothed , the 6n2 splitter will be fitted proply and the front end will be re-alined as you can see in the pics its totally pissed lol

I'm also getting the rear plate sprayed to match the car and the boot recessed shortend and the badge and handle smoothed , will hopefully be on coillies by then too .

polo d - yer me and my nan did the retrim , still got to do the fronts and some of the dash

linezy - i got the plates from www.platemyride.com they are a trusted company through dubmeister

yer there was basically nothing at the time dude , I've only got myself to blaim for the crash i suppose driving with tyres like that

my new wheels i should be picking up soon wil have lots of stretched tread

Hopefully next time you'll change them before they get like that.

yer i think I've learnt my lesson now , i bought them like that off a bloke from e38 and my plan was to get some the next week when i got paid but then it was too late .. luckily enough no1 was injured in the crash and it was wif my mate and it was mainly his fault it happend

indicators seperate but they are included with the lights as are all the bulbs

keep your other headlights for mot time

and the car being 98 you will need to rewire them slightly as the standard headlights are 4 pin plugs and the powerlooks are 7pin to match the later 98 onwards models

sean as chrispy said u need to re-wire them , took me a while to get my head round it but got there in the end lol , i took the 4 main power beams from the light wiring and and choped them into the oringinal light power wernt to hard if you no what your doing

poundie - where does the plate go on the bonnet ? i forgot ... lol i got it there because the front recess is guna go back smoooooth

jonny - yer i did think hard about what colour to go for out of the two but i really dont like black on black unless there is something to break it up and there aint with lights so decided the clears would be much better for my plans anyways , my plans are , bodywork wise - respray front end + smooth off front recess , smooth off boot badge and handle and shorten rear recess , coilovers , 15x8 front and 15x9 rear work equip 03's , flare archs eventually with a full blow over and I'm thinking about checking the roof as my bird has just had it done to her black fiesta mk6 and looks the nuts and while I'm there smooth the ariel off , engine wise - within a year or 2 i want to try get a cupra r engine in her orr just a tt 1.8 20v
