the hawk kits on ebay, says its for a 5dr but its fine with 3drs, I've got it fitted to mine, had it for over a year now and not had a single problem, would recomend it all day long!

kit was only like 25quid too inc postage. bargin!

its a 5dr kit what I've got, they work fine, u just have 2 spare pumps.

Hey, might sound like a stupid question but... I have a 1.6cl 6n that already has central locking but I want remote entry, will these kits still work if it already has central locking? If so is fitting still as simple as they say it is?

will this kit work on a mk2 ??

Not sure on these working WITH the vw central locking as yours is vacuum and the hawk system is fully electric

I have no idea, I'm no good with this kind of thing :p where would I go looking for a module? Around how much do you think? And could you not replace the vw style central locking with the Hawk?

That rclick website does remote central locking. I got one from there and it works well.

I've just bought one of these, will probably do an installation thread, like the one on uk-polos.net but make it a bit more in depth! So if anyones interested I'll probably have it up by next week.

The hawk kits are awesome, the new model flashes the indicators. The older ones dont but you can wire up 2 relays so that it does.
