I'm looking at getting some Golf mk1 wheels for my 6n. I was wondering if anybody had some advice about offset measurements as the original steelies are et43 and the alloys are et38

*Plus, will there be any other issues that I need to worry about other than offset?

Standard 6n steel wheels are 5.5X13 ET38 so the answer to the question in title is yes.

My 1995 6N wheels definitely have et43 etched into them

They were narrower than 5.5 so the effective et requirement is different.

As said,the alloys in question will fit your car,and will do so perfectly.
