so i did make this topic months ago but cannot find it any more so oh well..

so i sold this and got £2500 for it..

and with the cash i bought this.. for £600

1.4 8v cl

electric windows,

electric wing mirrors... that dnt work!! lol

and within a fue weeks i had it like this..

when i got i know that the laquer on the roof and bonent was pealing so i did this..

then got the alloys that i love...

the profil on them was 195/50/15.. and every time i went over the littlist of bumps the rubbed on the rears and the fronts scrubbed the paint off arches.. so had to buy new tyres ..165/50/15..

so i now got to the point of no return...

i love 6n2 gti's and as i really carnt afford 1... and now that the shells are the same for the 6n and 6n2 gti i disided to build my self a replica..

the only thing i cannot replicate is the rear bumper but i can get close!!..

but annoyingly had to take car off road.. to do my head gasket!!!

they fit like a glove!!!! :p the bulb holders should arrive thursday.. so then they'll be working.. lol..

They would've come with bulb holders, except, i forgot to get them as i was under the impression from the g/f's info ages ago, that the MK4 holders would work. In fact, i've done all of the work...

i went to the scrappies last year to source a MK5 Polo for its lights

to fit the boot and rear lights properly you have to raise the panel below the rear lights too so its all flush :-)

the indicators are deff different but not sure on the head lights! as i dont know anyone near me who has a 6n2 i can inspect.. i am doing all this blinde!!! have a feeling that they are slitly differant :(

polo6n1600i is finding out for me.. am still shoping around for the front end parts as i refuse to be riped off lol...

( permannet marker rulez!!! ) if so it will reinberce me £50!

gona clean up the head be4 i put it back on so will look mint..

also taking it slow as i making a D.I.Y thred on it..

and i nearly finished rebuilding the head up... after changing the head gasket.. but not torqued up yet... the bit rounded off under the presure :(
