i started following the uk-polos diy guide, but the lights arnt working right, . could some one tell me what wires i have to switch round please

IIRC:

BOTH plugs need to have the thick brown wire at the bottom. This means slicing the lugs off the plug at the necessary side. (Driver side i think). Once you have this, swap the TOP TWO wires around on both sides.

On the left one you swap wires 1 and 2 around

On the right one you swap wires 4 and 5 around

IIRC from when i did it

I do know that you have to turn the connectors upside down though to put them in the wrong way round, meaning you have to saw the plastic lugs off.
