The porka Sits in my car port comes out about 700miles a year its only done 16500miles on an 01. Supra was stolen 2 years ago now. It was a never ending money pit to be honest tuning on a Supra is endless no limits. I'm better of for it hence Buying my childhood dream car.

Tav has a point though, why spend so much on a car to not drive it?

Especially since Porsche is the everyday supercar...I think we did more than 700miles in a couple of days in a GT2. If I was in the position to run a 911 Turbo I'd prob. be taking it to work everyday...might be a different story with a GT3/RS/GT2 though.

Love the 'RUF' plates!! Class!! My Dad had one of these a while ago....he was 2nd on the list and picked it up from germany....it was so bloody quick!!!!

Dont get me wrong first two weeks of owning the car must of put 1500miles on it. I get bored very quickly so i like to savour the moment. I would like to think in 5 years time it will be one of the lowest mileage 996 turbos in the country that really helps on the value front. 911 Turbo have always been a great collecters car. Its not a car that i would enjoy driving every day heavy clutch. It really would not be practical to use every day as i need a van for work. I like a bit of luxury nice auto old before my time. The Porsche is for when i want to take my slippers off.

theres nothing more annoying than seeing a knob in a suit driving round in these who blatently use it to commute but wanted a flash car, & just let them get filthy & shitty
