This Remus system has a very very subtle noise on idle and makes a nice noise at high revs without being intruisive in the cabin. Definately more flow than a G40 box, id pretty sure the main pipe is 2 1/4 inch bore, which is beasty =] I'm pretty sure g40s are 1 3/4 inch.

I definately will suit the mk3 more, i had it fitted to a mk2 polo and it didnt sit high enough, looked fine on the mk1 polo however. I think its just due to the lack of big bumpers that made it not look right.

It will fit a G40 and Carver probably your 1.6 without the need for a reducer dependant on the size of current mix box

and i really would prefer not to post but can do if really required. 20 quid for courier + whatever for materials to cover it safely

Yes it does, Its not shown in the picture as it wasnt fitted on at that time, its a wrap round hanger which holds together with a 13mm nut and bolt

Also would i be able to get it to sit right through different rubbers in order to make it to tuck to the bumper?

Yeh man just connects up to your exisiting downpipe, its a full system back from there, although the centre section isnt stainless, the backbox and connecting pipe is stainless however and painted black.

You could use different rubbers to make it sit higher, or get someone to tack weld two other hangers and use those instead of the wrap around bracket. I think it would sit different to the Mk2 on a Mk3 as the Mk3 has a larger deeper rear bumper

should have rubbers and clamps with the exhaust.

aye should be as 63mm is 2 1/2 inches which I'm almost certain is the bore, I'm just about to stick a pizza in and ill clean up the exhaust and take some piccies.

its actually 51mm - a 2 inch bore, and the reducer thats been welded onto the SS system is about 45 inches for the Coupe S system, which is 1 3/4 inch bore.

Someone has already said they will definatly take it at the RR day so they have first refusal on the day, thats Oily Fingers.

Although as I'm a bit brass, and i get paid on the 28th i wouldnt mind selling it cash in hand or by however means before the RR day, postage isnt an issue, collection is preffered or i can deliver depandant on location for petrol costs
