My Mk4 1.9d And Lovin It

Been a member a wee while now and thought I'd stick a few pics of my polo up seeing as I've finally put some alloys on it.....

Quick desc;

97 1.9D with 154k on the clock and standard sus

15" old skool MIM alloys (195/45 on front and 195/50 on the back)

clear front and side indicators

BMW 3 series fog lights (haven't wired them in yet)

front grill sprayed grageon green ( cant really notice that though)

removed labels on boot

rear LEXUS lights (will be replacing them but coilovers come first)

red LED dash and all interior switches

Alpine sps component speakers

JBL amp

JBL sub

Plans

coilovers ASAP... after I pay off the overdraft and save up

anyway, heres how I got it

Glad I'm not the only one on here with a derv. Looks tidy i would change the rear lights personally or tint them red maybe. Spray your front badge black too it totaly transforms the front end! How do you find the cars engine slow? noisy? Mine is!

Ha Ha, yeah its slow noisy and vibrates like hell, pretty good on the mpg atleast...

whats the engine code on these? with it being a 1.9 i would guess (and thats just assuming because its a 1.9 and a vw) that the 1.9 AAZ td lump would go in these? if so that a very tunable motor, i've just got one to go in my rocco and even in the massive car it came in and in standard spec it still halled ass! lol. would be impressive in a mk4 polo if they fit.

the enigine codes AEF, nice idea to drop that engine in. Just wondering but did your td engine come off a mk4 or mk5?? the turbo came later but I wasn't sure if it made it onto the mk4?
