Crazy electronics in my Mk3 G40! When I depress the brake pedal the clock goes out, then when I release the brake pedal it comes back on, displaying a reset time of 0:00, further to this I have found out my brake lights do not work? Before I go deep I wondered if anyone else has experienced this fault?

neva had this problem but i wood make shore all your earth points are good

checked the switch above the brake pedal to see if its ok? COuld be a wire shorting out everytime you brake.
  • 15 years later...

I am having the same issue was there any fix for this?
