I can't imagine them poking out of the arch, but would that level of stretch be frowned upon by plod? And is it safe? Tyrestretch.com for reference

I have 145s on my 7J Ronals

There hardly stretched at all.

what profile are they kam?

145/60's, and from the looks of it, the very expensive Michelin 145/60's....

Strange that 155's are a flush fit on a 5.5J

But 145's give such little stretch on a 7J..

60 profile. They are quite dear, I think they were around £40 a tyre.

There quite baloony, but I think they look good.

145/55/13 was manufactured but fuck me, I've searched low and high but haven't found them yet!!
