Wheely Good Advice For A Newbie?

Featured Replies

i've just bought my first polo, a 1993 GT. And i am looking to get some nice wheels for it. Unfortunately i dont know anything about them really, except what i like the look of!

So hopefully somebody on here can take pity on me and help me out [we all have to start somewhere].

I've been looking at some BBS styles on ebay which i quite like, but i would really like that really sunken look, similar to these:

Are all rims that deep 'split rims'?

If anybody could tell me what size wheels i can fit on my car, diameter, offset, width ect. that would be great, i'd really appreciate it. Ideally i'd like the deepest ones i could fit on in the BBS style.

thanks alot for your time, help out a newbie!

cheers

what style are you after? i.e. deepdish, flat faced ones etc

generally 13" and 14" and generally fitted although people have fitted 15's which look good

also what sort of budget do you have?

thanks for the reply. as for the style, i'd really like some real deepdish ones. My budget is around £300-400, so i'm willing to look 2nd hand as well.

cheers

at that sort of money you have an absolutely huge range to choose from! I'll have a look around and try to get some pics, but almost anything with a 4x100 stud pattern will fit.

You got a picture of your car for us to have a look at?
