6 Letter Numberplate In 420mm Size Legal?

standard size is 520mm i think, but with 7 letters its ok, so would having a 6 letter numberplate still be legal spacing etc with 420mm plates?

no it wouldnt be legal

I've got a short plate as do alot of people with a private plate (6-digit or less) n never had a problem.. long as spacing is correct.. right font etc.
