alright guys looking for some quotes for a gt I'm getting, by far brentacre is the cheapest, are they any good? they seem to be extremely laid back with everything...

I've never had to make a claim with them but have had both my cars insured with them for a few years, always very helpful on the phone and know what you're talking about when you start saying things like toothed belts, ported charger etc... where other insurance companies just go "errr...you what?".

But they are only a broker, the actual insurance will be with another company. Brentacre will always be your contact point but things like dealing with claims will depend on specific company actually providing the insurance.

taken the poilcy out with highway something, they want a fair bit of paperwork!

I've got my GT insured with Highway via Brentacre. Seemed decent enough to deal with, and the price was the best I could find at the time. They made me sign a mileage declaration giving my current mileage and promising not to go over the agreed limit, which was interesting.

yeah I think ,mine is with highway too. I had to sign forms with the mileage on too and also had to send copies of the alarm installation certificate on my g40.

Brentacre themselves are great, but highway is not an impressive company, I'm still waiting for them to sort out my claim from the begining of december, they are dragging their feet, and you may find what you think your paying for you dont get when you make a claim.
