Whos interested me and a mate are going to germany this year mid june time roughly.

Mine (Passat TDI, When i get a car lol) and Sams (Green Golf) Trip to Germany. More dubbers welcome. Mid June Roughly Will get this all arranged by end of feb.

Hull - Dover - Nurburg - Wolfsburg - Euro Show - Amsterdam - Hull

Just seeing who would be interested coming along for the journey should be a good one.

did this recently we went from north shields on the ferry was much better,

me and my mate are planning to go around europe this summer in my polo and his vw bus....this route is basically the first leg of our route!!! Its just been talked about but we are planning on leaving around june/july!! Would be well up for cruising with you guys! Do you know how old you need to be to drive in Europe...?

Did that route in reverse last year, but ended in Leeds. Make sure you're geared for speed. I sat at over 100 in a transit van for hours. It's a bit of a shock to get off the ferry at Dover and almost straight into 50 zones.

I'd be well up for this, and I reckon some of my mates would as well. What sort of cost you looking at for such a trip?

u can count me in on this as long as i can get time off work ill defo be on my way!!!! legally speeding on autobahn...trip round nurburgring..... stop at amsterdam for a quickie and maybe a smoke

this sounds like an amazzing idea!!!.. think more details are needed.. miles done per day, hrs driving per day, over nights stops..

is it going to be a tent trip or bnb's....

Had a quick look on the p&o ferries website for a rough price. The details i put in are as follows:-

Outward 1st July to calais @ 10.45am - £35.00 (car & 2 adults)

Return 6th July to dover @ 12.25pm - £30.00 (car & 2 adults)

TOTAL - £35.00

For an extra £12.00, you can be loaded and unloaded first!!!!!

Sorry havnt wrote anything but were look at mid July and it isnt much talking about euro tunnel with car £110 return, and i dont know yet camping or hotel comes to about between £215 for 2 wks camping or hotel is about £600. Obviously fuel, food and so on. I'm looking to have this sorted by end of feb will leave contact details too for me so that we all know were to meet, and full details will be left here. So people have enough time of for work, I'm single going to love it what happens on the trip stays on the trip lol

YOU DO NEED INSURANCE OVER THERE I DID A QOUTE ON MY PASSAT 1.8T AND WAS ONLY EXTRA £40 TO COVER ME FOR A MONTH.

i have been looking in to going on a trip something like this and i found out that you need to be 18 with a full uk driving license (which i think you all with have) to drive in Europe :-D :-D so trip going ahead for me
