bear in mind if you have not added styrene to the mix then it will stay tacky

all depends on the thickness, temprature and the amount of hardener you mix with it. . . so theres no answer really

the more harderner you put in the quicker it sets but not to much just so the resin gos pinkish then get the hairdryer or heat gun on it it will be dry in 15 mins or bout 1 hour drying in normal temp ,hope this helps nay

what are you using it for buddy if i can ask and what are you trying to do with it?

you have to make sure you do it in a dry environment, and it's very sensetive to moisture... for instance if you've just coated something, and spill a teeny bit of liquid on it, it could ruin that patch for good.

i know this because i've done fibreglass roofing which is the same stuff.

also... get the mixture PERFECT... you'll be glad.

yea all depends on the temperature, how much catalyst is put in really.

what type of resin are you using?

right got a kit from halfrauds today, had all the gubbins in, did the job well! was fibreglassing the battery tray of my polo, il check it again tomorow morning see if its all still there and intact

if its just a resin (yellow tins) with a hardener then it will stay tacky and will not be spray able over the top as it will all react. you need to put something over the top like a skim of filler or the like to make it dry (tacky free) then paint and rust prevent

meh put abit on newspaper under the battery to stop it sticking to the tray as there was afew drops of resin on it, its dryed hard and iv already treated the rust so its all good
