Right I'm 17 on the 17th of feb and i want to no what can i do to help me get on the road asap

My mum brought me the 3dvd driving think its got all of it on it.

I've been driving up and down my road doin my parking and all that.

What else can i do to be ready.

Take lessons

Book and revise your theory, I booked mine on my birthday but failed it so if you do it gives you time to redo it without having to delay your driving test

get a dsa disc for you comp helps alot on the theory side of things

Book your theory as said above.

Have lessons, I had loads and they defiantly helped, also driving around with your parents helps.

Also don't pickup any nasty habits as they are never a good thing and could also cause you to get minors/majors in the actual test

As said by goose, go out with your mother or father, i did aswell as lessons and it saves alot of money. When I would normally get my dad to take me to football training I would drive, when we looked for cars I drove and nearly everywhere else I went

Yeah just drive absolutely everywhere you can, i put loads of miles on my car when i was learning

For the theory test get Driving Test Success brilliant DVD! I went to loads of car parks and got insured as a learner ASAP

yerr as mentioned just drive whenever possible

i would drive to & from work, to the shops, to my nans, would drive everywhere lol

it just gives you that little bit of road confidence & practice, that way you can spend your lessons learning the proper stuff instead of wasting time learning clutch control & all that lol

well thats if your able to insure the car when you turn 17

& i noticed youve got a p reg 1.4, have you looked into insurance quotes?

my brother is turning 17 soon & wants a 1.4 but after looking at quotes it seems like its going to be impossilbe! like 2200 cheapest once passed

i know your qoute would be entirely different but its good to see what other people at your age are paying

My first car was a 1.0 litre and it was just under a grand for third party....

Search collingwood insurance on google and you can get one or 3 months learner insurance where you can just go out with your parents. My friend just got his insurance when he was on a provisional, paying 1100 for a 1 litre corsa and when he passed they wanted an extra grand!
