Rewiring The Battery To The Boot?

hi all, anyone shed any light on this? can i run a power lead from the battery positive to the positive clamp in the engine bay then earth the battery on the bodywork in the car?

any info please

cable from front poss to rear poss. then just earth the rear in the boot somewhere, e.g. seatbelt bolt

you will also need a good size anl fuse and fuse holder around 300 amps as you will be pulling ca lot of current when turning the car over and this fuse is to protect the car it needs to be no more than 8 inches from the battery

cheers all il check out those fuses

well, i have just the straight cable from batt to batt.

then batt 2 distribution block is fused, then 2 cables to the amps.

doing it like this protects the amps directly, where as having the fuse in between batts wont protect them

you could on the other hand have fuse between batts, fuses from rear batts to amps....expensive tho, no real gain.

I'm only doing this so i can sort out the battery tray, not running any sounds etc
