Ok guys and gals, here i am selling my pride and joy :(

I really dont want to sell it but dues to certain circumstances I'm reluctantly having to. I've owned this car for just over two years now, its been well looked after and lots of money spent on it. Any work I've ever had done on it was done through and Audi/Volkswagen racing garage named Brookspeed in Southampton. I've had a lot of money and time spent on this. A lot of the time being my own. Anyway enough with the chatter and on with the pics:

As you can see its a great looking car and I'm so gutted to be selling it.

1991 J Plate MK3 Polo 1.3 GT

Little over 126k on the clock

Full Ashley Racing manifold and exhaust system (i have the back box and S bend in my garage which comes with the sale)

Badgeless Grill

INTERIOR:

Stripped out

Custom made Show Cage

BAD POINTS:

The boot lid is very badly rusted around the key lock and behind the lisence plate

Some slight surface rust on the driver side door down the bottom

This is a great car and anyone who knows it will tell you I've looked after it and put a lot of time into it. Its a very reluctant sale but I'm forced to sell to due to certain reasons.

The current mileage is a little over 126k miles.

I have the service history manual and its been filled in upto 66k, but the guy who owned it before me was a mechanic (Rolo) and i believe he serviced it himself up until i bought it. I have had the car serviced by my friends at Brookspeed on a regular basis since i have owned it.

Its been well looked after and its a great car.

Right guys i thought id post up th picture here save me mailing it to all other people. Heres a picture of the car with the rust in the shot, i know its not a close up but its what i have on the computer and my cameras broken lol. As you can see the bootlid rust is quite bad and you can see the spot on the door.

Is the scaffolding welded in? My mate would be interested but without that in the back. Do you have the rest of the interior?

Scaffolding!!!? Its stainless steel my friend, not scaffolding No its bolted in as its only a show cage, the bolts are well hidden and it is removable.

I've offerd him a swap for my rear split g40 bench seat, its very fucking rare as it splits right down the middle. they fetch about 100-250 squid so I'm waiting to hear back from him, would you are mate be interested in it with the slpit rear bench seat?????

ahhhh, my old GT, a few late nights went into that engine bay, i want it back.

aint got any money though. lol

lol, I've told him that it unbolts and that he will be able to shift it easy enough so he's not too bothered now. But I will tell him what you have offered, to be honest I'm sure he would happily give it away for the standard kit, let alone this G40 magic seat you speak of.

spoke to the guy today mate and hes not really fussed with the cage in the car now so i think its a no can do now mate. Sorry :(
