Hello everyone... quite the newb on here but been learnin loads bout polo's cos i bout one in early jan as a run about for to and from work... it's an 80 mile round trip daily

reason being, my first car was this!

1986 ford capri laser... started life as lowly 1.6 laser (epic fail I no, nut i was 18!)

anyway, october 2007 saw a 2ltr put in her, skimmed head, high torque cam... thats bout it really engine wise! other things i have done are purely cosmetic, tinted rear lights, de-bumpered rear, swapped interior over for 's' interior, rear window louvres... best mod (aside from the engine) was the 205 wheels, made so much difference to handling and looks!

she was my daily drive, but is off road for some much needed TLC!

Plans include, new exhaust system (full, of course!), electronic ignition, vernier pulley, lowered 2inches front, -1 on the rears taller white letter tyres on the rears, probably some bf goodrich's! de-bumpered all round, indicators moved to front, mk1 rs3100 ductail on the boot, home-respray in hardcore black (hot rodding black, a blacker satin black) and general tidy up of rusty patches!

Random this thread popping up, I'm pretty sure i saw this car the other day as it was this green and had no rear bumper!
