Time has come to put my gti engine and gearbox up for sale after my accident. Had the front of the car stripped out yesterday and inspected to make sure the engine and gearbox was ok by vw technician. Lucky enoungh its 100%. The engine has only done 47000 and has had the tbelt and water pump fitted 5000 mile ago also vehicle has a full vw service history so engine has been well maintained. The gearbox has had the four main bearings replaced only 2months ago only one bearing was away but my brother works for vw and thay striped the box down and done the job right and replaced all four, engine and gearbox drives like a dream must also add that a new clutch was fitted during the gearbox rebuild.

Would be ideal for someone looking to do a conversion, would like to be selling engine and gearbox as one but may consider spliting them depending on the interest.

Must also add that engine can be heard running.

Looking £950 for everything ie engine, gearbox, aircon pump, power steering pump, alternator, manifolds, wiring loom

Engine on its own with nothing attached £500

And gearbox on its own £300
