Finally got my car back after it has made a visit to the bodyshop

i have had my front number plate recess smoothed and i have put a yankee spec bootlid on courtesey of phillyt1988....thanks bud

so heres a few pics of the end result

looking very nice, cant believe that boot lid stayed up for sooo long

looks good does that, but not sure about the rear plate, it seems to either look too big or too high, definatelty something different.

Obviously it's illegal, so with a normal sized plate you could easily just replace it with a standard legal plate, but how would you overcome legal issues with a plate like that as the standard plates won't fit in that recess?

Also get a gti splitter and maybe some of those fk powerlook front headlamps and it will look sweeeeeeeeet.

its an import bootlid so only an import size plate will fit on it, i haven't had any probs from the police so far so its all good.........

yea bootlid was up for sale for ages...phills a good mate of mine so hopefully he pleased with the results

looks fantastic mate, coming along nicely i was tempted by this bootlid but was a little worried about running into the long arm of the law as already get pulled over too much!
