6n2 Fuses

Featured Replies

hi all, my brother decided to pull one of the fuses out on the top of the battery on his 6n2. car made a weird noise from bay until he put it back in.

thinkin about it now, it may have been the fan that came on, but i only gave it 10% of my attention, the other 90% involved me saying "why the f**k would you pull a fuse out??"

anyways, its a pink fuse lol. 10A

reason I'm asking for info is that the car wont start now, as if the battery is flat, i turns over slowly for about 2 secs.

however, he has been pissing about with it all day (interior light on, and cd player on) as its his new toy lol.

then i went to start it, as I'm the chauffer at the min, and it wouldnt go.

is it a coincidence??

Erm, i think i rember it to be a fan controll switch or somthing.

Can't see why taking it out would do any damage...

Try battery charger ? if not, Bump start ?

Worth a try. :-)

nice one mate, i thought the fan came on when he took it out lol, will have to bump start it.

anyone got any ideas why his new headunit wont work, theres no power to it at all. he thinks maybe a fuse has gone, but we dont have a clue which fuse it would be, looking at the diagram lol. maybe the same as the ciggy lighter?

had a better look and weve found it, just waitin for the battery to charge

Awesome mate, no worries.

All fuses to do with interior/ light blah blah are in the cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel.

An there should be a little card on the back of the plastic cover you pull off that tells you what all the different fuses are for.

Started it yet ?
