i want to know if the gti healights fit the standard 6n2 polo and what i would need to change i.e wiring, brackets...thanx

I think, not 100% it's a straight swap!

I know there 100% the same shape, and i can't see why the wiring would be different. Other than the gti's had HID's....

is the wiring already in place on 6n2s? i read this somewhere that the wiring is already done you just need the switch and lights? was thinking on LED r8s fitted to work with the fog lamp switch if this is the case.

any one know if it is?

Ask h4ris on here with the green 6n2. He fitted GTI headlights to his non GTI.

yep they fit, bit of butchering of the underneath where the headlight sits to locate the ballast but apart from that straight swap, you will need the headlight unit(bulbs of course) the ballasts and wiring loom which should be on back of the headlight, only think you wont have is the auto adjusters which are on the rear of the polo GTi hubs to auto level the lights

Also need the headlamp washers and the bigger water tank for it to be legal, otherwise you will fail your MOT
