6n Drainage Issue

Featured Replies

Hey all

everytime it is piss's down with rain. i end up with a frikken puddle in my rear passenger foot well.

Anyone got any idea of where its coming from??

i have checked the sunroof, and seals on the roof where the roof rack goes and rubbers on my passenger door seem ok too.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Jake

Not sure if it's anything like in a mk 2 Golf, but in the Golf it has drain holes in the front scuttle in front of the windscreen and if they block up with tree crap and dirt etc, it then runs into the car in the footwells. Once you unblock it, you see the puddle of water that had gathered in the scuttlle area run out behind the back of your front wheel!

I also have a leak problem and it's in the drivers side rear footwell in front of the rear seat. Was sopping wet! Looks like it has come from the bottom of the door rubber (as there is a little run down the plastic cover in the door opening), but I can't understand why or how it's all runnning into the rear footwell. Anyone got any ideas?

yep as above

try removing hs uttle cover and unblocking the drains at either end, they block up and then dump water into the heater inlet :(

have your doors droped if so its prob comeing in at bot of door on the front corner thats were mine was comeing in.
