they best whay to do it with a hammer and dolly is to, knock your return lip back against it's self

so you have a nice rounded edge and then to flair them knock the vertical part of the arch flush with the shape of the rest of it. but with each of these processes you have to go slowlly EG.

for the return lip it should take around 4-5 passes around the arch and tripple that to flair it

the one problem with the hammer and dolly way is you need a skim of bog to cover the hammer marks oh and its a lot of effort, belive me the front ones may move really nicly just try doin the double skinner rears

and my mk2 was a lot harder than my jetta's for some reason.
