I need a spare set to roll around on whilst i get my daily wheels resprayed and re-tyred, and the only ones i can easily get hold of are a set of 13" VW steels off a mates Lupo. Will they fit?

I've read about 13" alloys not fitting but I'm sure I've seen a Valver locally running on 13" steels...- ?Thinner steel walls = more clearance..?
