I was issued a pink slip by the fuzz for not having an exaust... they gave me 14 days to get it done which ended tuesday, but I've gone over as i didnt have time and the garage i took it to were un able to weld it back to the manifold as there was a chunk missing and gave it back to me today....... how do i get ou of this one or do i not have a leg to stand on.... i went to the cop shop n they said il have to go to court....ne ideas???

Your fucked basicaly, and i bet you had plenty of time and other garages you could have used. Even a trip down the scrappy might have been an idea.

the pink slip means you need to fix whats wrong then go to mot test centre and pay about £10 4 them to check and stamp the paper.. then you have to take all your documents and the pink slip to get it sorted..

but get it sorted ASAP

your best option is to get to police station and ask for help...
