My CV joints are wearing out, rather than just replacing them if there are any uprated driveshafts going I will have them...

I'm sure that G40 driveshafts are pretty good upto 200bhp so you must have some evil plans to want uprated ones?!

Most people snap them with LSD's

Dunno about that! I've snapped 3 or so now, all on 150ish bhp G40s.

Well I'll be blowed!! Can't the standard shafts be reinforced or do they need stronger mounting points either end?

Its the shaft itself, mine snapped right in the middle. :lol:

so i'm assuming that strips of steel or whatever are welded along the length of the shaft to reinforce it. Obviously it would have to have some balance to it.
