the problem was to get both modd`s and the dr10 , which adrian flux would not cover me , i was 28 and found odd ones like HSBC , kwik fit seamed to do the beter quotes but its going to be a personal thing as it goes on where you live , park it , cover , modds and many more , do the confused.com things as well . and also a year later on and its now around the grand mark

Insurance is going to rape me no matter what so I'm just going to get whatever car/engine size a want and keep searching untill i find someone that will insure me, obviously i don't mean a 2.0 Redtop lol but some thing in the 1.4 area instead of 1.0.

well if you want a laugh , my G40 lowered , uprated brakes , strut braces , exhauste , and dr10 . was getting me quotes from £1500 to £9,900 from ecar , as well as many not even quoting

They quote you a ridiculous price as a subtle way of telling you they don't want to insure you. Ever wondered why you get asked the question "have you ever been refused insurance?" - being refused insurance counts against you in the actuarial calculation of your policy price. So it's much easier and less hassle for them just to give you a stupid price - then they know if they come across someone who HAS been refused insurance, there's a damn good reason why.

alan thats unlucky , did you know also that you can get banned for having the intention to drive , one of the guys on my course was banned for getting a box of fags out of his car , the cops saw him going in to his car and nicked him for intent to drive under the influence .
