Basicaly i want to know everything that has been done/replaced on the engine as thats all I'm interested in tbh.

you thinking of convering your mk2 to a vr mate? I've been looking into gti 16v still cant findones with really low mileage an under 2.5k

More then likely my bros Mk2 16v, Its best to buy a VR with T&T so you can drive it before putting it into the Mk2 to tell if its a good engine.

Depends what you consider low mileage mate, anything under 120-130k is good, they will carry onto 200k+ when cared for. Check Pistonheads and Mk2 Golf Owners Club.

I've seen one with 78k but its 3.5k to much lol i want to spend that making it absolutely perfect and upgrading it of course. might take a trip to tsr performance to see what they offer for it 16v engine wise

No rattles runs perfect partner own a vr also and mine pulls alot nicer and quicker than his.like i say everything done.will pm dates of when done later.
