If you have ever seen G40jon's blue polo I dont think u could ever forget her. She was higher than your average stoner, with heated cream leather interior with color coded bumpers and a gear stick that i belive was made from a piston. So pretty much basic. Well to be fair she wasnt as bad as i make out. She wasnt in bad nick tho (ha ha nick sorry personal joke you know who u r!!!!!!).

So i picked her up not so long back and set to work getting rid of the seats and every bit of interior i could possibly find!!!! :grin:

Once she was stipped it was time for lowering, so i grabbed myself a set of jabba 70mm lowering springs and got to work!!! (i know i kno, bouncy bouncy!!)

One painfully long afternoon later she was decked!!!!!! Next i decided it was a trip to halfords!!! DONT SHOOT ME!!! I decided to buy some buckets, the all important bum nubmer!!! MONACO S's!!!!!! Didnt get a bad deal on them and they were in in a week!!!! so with the buckets fitted i needed some harnesses!!!! Que, Andy!! he sold me one of his cheap, £25 squid but the drivers side i had to buy brand new and was £60 from HALFRAUDS!!!

With the car slowely getting somewhere i wanted it my mother (the diamond that she is) treated me to a OMP Steering wheel with 95mm of dish!!!!!! Bless he heart!!!

Now so with buckets, lowered, harnessed up, dishy steering and being bloody cold in the winter cause of my crazy thought to strip it, she was finally getting there.

I bought a badgeless grille!!!!! looks the nuts!!!!!

I was given a brand new stainless steel manifold for helping my friend drop a G40 lump into his 1 ltr boulevard!!! litrally drop it in!!!!!

Next was the all important shiney boots i wanted to get her!!!!! (I also added some stickers!!!!)

I have been looking a for a set of alleycats for a long time and little would i know i came across a brand new set of 8x13's!!!!!! OMG, i am now currently running 175/50/13 all round with uber strech!!!!! :p

And thats basically where she is now!!!

I would like a roll cage next to finish her off and some mk1 Golf rear coilleys for the back then shes done.

No. Twasn't a local bargain, i had to go to yorkshire to get them and in total cost me just shy of 500 samolies!!!!! oh and yes, i love exclamation marks!!!!!! :D

dont look bad for a car that only cost me £20! i really like what you've done with it, its certainly looking a lot better than your old derby currently is! what did you do with my old gearknob? i was gonna take it off but i couldnt unscrew it!! it wasnt a piston btw, i turned it on a lathe out of a big piece of ally, twas really heavy for aluminium!

I'm really pleased with how youve got my old gt looking! is it still running sweet as a nut? bet its almost quick with no interior in it

nah, swapped it for a mk3 golf, which i sold, then banked the money, bar £80 which i bought my red mk2 square with! so from a £20 car i did alright out of it!

So i will be going to trading standards as they tor my exhaust off as well getting her down from the ramp and are not taking responsiblity for it!!!

yeah i wouldnt mind the gearknob back if you dont want it. i will pm you some pics of the golf, i'll send you some pics of the derby too, as its owned by a friend of mine whos giving it a bit of a revamp!

i didnt sell the taxi, i swapped it for the derby, and G40jon's got it now, i swapped it him for a pretty much stock GT which i currently own today, but u shall see a new polo soon!!! she will be coming off the road in the summer, because i am contimplating buying a Yammaha R1 engine and dropping it in the back!!!!!!!!

Either way I still wanted it Would have swapped you my mk3, the daily not the 40
