tbh if you sold without the wheels it'd be worth about 5-600 quid, the bodywork is nowhere near mint enough for it to be worth more, plus you've got rid of most the interior, which might put some people off. i reckon you'd be better off selling the gt as a gt, then buying a pov spec mk3 polo to put the bike engine in, would probably gain you a couple of hundred pounds towards the bike engine project, just seems pointless ripping out a perfectly good gt engine from a reasonble shell.

well, my cats cost me £330, £60 quid in fuel to get them, and £100 in tyres, so near £500. if i were to put 4 brand new tyres instead of 3, then the tyres alone would cost me £200+ so when u think about it, there worth more than £300. There MINT!!!! and have brand new tyres all round, and to be fair, if u recon there worth £300 then u can get me another set, and if i would only get about £1000 for the car with the alleycats, then i might as well keep them.

£8,000 - I'm sorry babes but I don't think you would get that, not even with a bike engine People haven't got that kind of money to blow on luxury toys anymore I think if you did fetch that much, it would be on the market a long time with the right buyer finally finding the car he wanted

yes you are right, but there not 8J Rallye Specials that have been proffesionally drilled to fit 4x100 complete with wobble bolts and they dont come with Brand new yoko A539's and two very good Pontenza's

And as for not getting £8,000, i bet u i would, been looking at alot of zcars and there fetching a hell of a lot more

so are you getting the whole car painted? the bonnet and drivers side wing were a slightly different shade, as were the bumpers, also had its fair share of dings and some nasty key marks. if you get the bodywork mint then yeah you'd probably get close to a grand for it. i still think you would be better off dropping the bike engine in a 1 litre cl, infact you should buy dirts white polo off her, that'd be ideal

yes she will be comng out mint, my mate runs a body shop, and she's going in for the front end, then next month she will go in again for a complete spray outside and in!!!!

and as for sticking a bike engine in a 1 cl its pointless, I've already got the polo, she looks close to as i want it, then i could have the problem of getting a mint polo, tbh its easier to keep this one and sell the engine on to someone else who cant afford a GT

good luck with it, i look forward to seing fresh pics when its done! it might be worth while sourcing a fresh set of bumpers, as those ones on it at the mo have like a million coats of paint on them and there arent that great a finish as i did them in a hurry, plus the front ones have a few marks from the old mods i had done to them!

well as for the wheels, they mean alot to me so i wont be selling them any time soon, probley the nicest thing I've ever owned :(

and as for the money i would get for it, i dont really mind that i wouldnt get anywhere near to that, but u have to understand, do u think you could buy a faster car for £3,000- £5,000??????
