Problem With Door Leaking

Featured Replies

Right iam about ready to scrap my car, its a mk5 polo and its a 5 door, on the passenger side REAR i noticed the footwell was water logged so i began investigating, it was coming up through the 2 gromits in the footwell on the floor, all sealed up, jobs a good en, only to find out that the footwell was water logged AGAIN, so i began stripping the whole rear, both door cards off, to find out the seal was fucked, it wasnt no where near the door at the bottom, and was leaking over the seal down the side of the seat into the footwell, so i ordered a new seal from VW, got it fitted, run water down the car and it still bloody leaks over the seal!!!!! how can i solve this?? there is no way of adjusting the door as you have to slam the door to shut it because of the seal being really tight, any info please???
