well, my dad spoke to the officer while i was at work, he said i cant run those wheels end of no questions asked :(

he said despite guidlines & loopholes he said its too dangerous & he would jsut tug me again

bastard

but I'm not so bitter cos, i had some good nes to follow

after my dad spoke to his cheif or whatever, they came to an agreement to allow me to just change my wheels & i could drive it witout a re test, & they wont take the case any further, so no fine, no points! which i was most worred about

i was told if it had gone to court i would ahve got up to 9 points because of how dangerous they were, becasue they poked out, & because they scrubbed

so I'm pissed off but also greatful for being let off, half the reason was is because when i was pulled, he was half expecting some mouthy little barry who thought he knew it all

SO IF ANYONE IS EVER PULLED DONT BE A DICK!

nomatter how pissed off you are, jsut staying calm could help you in te long run if shit hit fan

if we hadnt spoke to the cheif it probly would have gone further so it was worth fighting

so, in conclusion i was fined 150, ad a week without a car, been fobbed off by various coppers, can no longer run my borbets or any wheels which purtrude the arch includng the lip

BUT

i was let off the fine & points which is the most important thing, as this would ahve killed my insurance for 'running a dangerous vehicle' which trust me ills your insurance, iv checked!

so i can afford a 1.8t golf ifi chose to do that [which i wont for a while anyway!]

so i think, its a lesson learnt, iv got to take it and accept that running poke is risky

i was sjut unlucky

oh btw, anyone who lives in the areas around me sch as reading, slough windsor i seems as there clamping down on this

they told me hes been getting others like mine & someone on another forum from swidon who has a lupo on steffans had the police round his house after seeing him in the past warning him to take them off otherwise he would ahve got a fine, points & car impounded!

i was done for stiff suspension and poking wheels, i said that in the 1st place, it jsut wasnt made clear

they suspension was question cos it was hitting my wheels, so the cause was the poking wheels

and like iv mentioned, i need them totaly covered, even the lip of the rim, you can just simply pull the arches that far without it looking like a complete mess, they poke out obout 25mm either side on the rears

The poke was illegal though, and they found that out, there's no chance of fighting the other case when he was breaking the law in another area, thats jus the way it is.

If he walked back into the cop shop saying ''i want my £150 back, I'm taking you to court'' they'd just say ''ok, we'll bring the illegal wheels back onto the table and give you 6 points''

Which will cost him like a grand on his insurance...

well....when i was riding my 50 i over took an unmarked police corsa with absolutely no equipment in what so ever. so they pulled out of a jct and proceeded to drive a 15 in a 40. so... i overtook, they followed me to my destination where i got off my bike and was ment to go to see my mate.

they jumped out of the car and shouted 'oi dickhead police'

so

i got in the back of the car and gave me pure abuse, calling me a prick, dikhead and so on. they siad they would of give me 6 points if they had the correct equipment in the car but they cant so they arent letting me get off. they gave me a section 59. i totally forgot about it and went on with everyday life. (btw in no way did i break the law in this instance, i didnt break the speed limit or make any rash maneouvres)

well

last night i was followed from crewe to alsager (about 7 miles) in which time i overtook a car and did 40 in a 30 (so last night i was completely in the wrong). he went through the usual procedures, i was polite and wasnt mouthy. he took pitty on me being in my first year of driving and said I'm just going to issue you with a section 59. then i realised id already had one, he had already asked me if id been stopped before, so he took it upon him to think i was being dishonest. so he said i need to learn a lesson and he will be seizing my car.

i was supposed to be taking my girlfrend back to nantwich this morning and he told me the impound would be open. he also told me that the charge would be 105 pounds. i went to the impound this morning, found they were closed and also that the charge would 150. so i went to the police station to stress what was happening, they told me that there was nothing they can do about incorrect seizure form.

my luck being as it is, the first section 59 should of expired in march. its now feb.

so basically i was done over when i was riding my bike, not last night. even though the copper caused me great inconvenience by telling me the impound would be open and also giving me a seizure form which states the wrong impound fee, he was a sound bloke who really let me off lightly. he could of given me points and a fine. which I'm glad he didnt
