1.9 Mk2 Golf Gti 8v

hi peeps, and here we have for sale, my and my mate's joint venture. A Mk2 GTi 8v 1.9 Digi. This car is fast as fooook, and has wiped the smile off many other peoples faces. Mainly on the road, but also on the one track day that its been on. On the track day, i was all over scooby's, evo's etc. This was in the handling and the power/weight department.

The Car was built my myself, as a dedicated track car, but then ended up being used as my daily for 2 months, as a shakedown, then it done a track day, and has been stood ever since (due to mot running out)

However, i've started checking it over, and fixin her up again (as its been standing since october) and it will be mot'd this week (as long as she passes)

The car is now for sale, as my mate wants the cash to further tune his G40 polo, and i've been offered a G60 raddo. So it must go to fund other projects.

The Spec is as follows :-

1989 E Reg Small Bumper GTi

Standard interior minus rear seats

Rear adjustable strut brace

Exterior repainted in mat green, with a custom hand painted (by a pro signwriter) camoflage theme, along with MOD style graphics.

Lowered on eibach springs, and KYB shocks.

Rear hubs are camber shimmed to give - camber

Will come with a set of standard VW steels, painted black.

The engine spec is as follows:-

1.9 Block, with new 82.45 mm pistons and re bore etc

Ported rebuilt head, with solid lifters (shimmed) ported inlet, exhaust, re ground valves etc.

Port matched inlet manifold

Stainless 4 branch

Stainless 2 3/4 inch de cat pipe

Newman 288 High lift race / rally cam

Tweaked fuel pressure regulator

new fuel filter

K and N panel filter

GTi 8v Gearbox, with fresh oil

Rebuilt Linkage on gearbox

Currently running standard GTi brakes, as these are more than enough for the road and occasional track use its seen.

The car will come with 12months mot, and no tax, but can be taxed if need be, at the buyers expense

Looking for offers around £1600.00 but price is negotiable depending on spec. The cam can be removed, as can the exhaust if the interested person requires it a bit cheaper, or for insurance purposes etc.
