For sale a white mk2 coupe s, this car has cost me so much time and money that I've got to get rid of it. I bought it off WOLOP about a month ago and so far I've put on new rear drums, new shoes, new cylinders, new wheel bearings, rebuilt carb, new manifold rubber flange, new exhaust manifold + clamp and bought 6 months tax for it. I recently decided to stick an AEE engine in it and went and bought one and put a new cambelt, tensioner, waterpump, head gasket, head bolts, FZR1000 carbs, Facet fuel pump, and a gt cam in that, only to realise my gearbox doesnt fit as its the wrong god damn engine. So I have given up on her.

Car comes with original engine and gearbox and manifolds and pierburg. you just have to put it all in. £250 takes it. It's not a bad car really, just needs some time spent on it. That and I have to walk 7 miles a day 'cos I haven't got a car.

Bump. I will trade for £70 + an SPI inlet manifold for a 1.6 ABU or AEA. If anyone can get one of these and wants the car with an ABD engine in it then they can have it for £200. I'm desperate to get it off my lawn now! I'm also selling a set of 17" alloys with 205/40 R 17 tyres (2 are brand new, I still owe £92.00 for them) I only want £100 for them, as my insurance wont let me put them on my car. Help me out...... :(

Yes mate. you just have to put the engine and box in it and wire it / plumb it up. Easy in a polo. Shouldnt take more than a couple hours.

70 quid an an spi manifold you say? I think i have one of those lying around. Is that offer still on mate?

I really shouldnt be buying more cars i already have four but sod it lol. Ill find somewhere for it! Thats if i have got an spi manifold. I defo have a 16000 head in the garage with the manifold attached, throttle body on her is fucked tho :(

Dont care about throttle body TBH but if you've got one on it and it fits AEE then I'll have it mate. I just want to put the AEE in my golf without too much messing about and I need the olop off my lawn lol.

do you have a stripped down aee head then? cause it might be less hastle to just swap heads haha. Its a mk3 golf head, 1.6 8b defo ae series head. So i assume its an aee or an aea. Either way theres no difference in the spi unit.

Just need to think how do i get the car from deford to east london lol. Let me have a think about it mate and we shall see if i come up with anything in the next few days. I feel this little shell would make a nice home for my 2.0 16v audi 100 lump!

Nah the both AEE's I have are fully built up. I dont know if there is any difference in the heads, I didnt think there were. I need the money before the end of the month because the tax runs out on the golf then and if I can get an inlet for the AEE then I can stick that in it too. Can you PM your number? Thanks.

bad news mate as someone has just offered me the right money for the 2.0 lump, and I'm a bit desperate for the cash so I've said yes. Hence i have now got no reason to buy. Sorry mate!

Not the best in the world. Hole in spare wheel well. Light rust on corners of doors. I haven't even been underneath it yet. I can weld the hole up in the spare wheel well if wanted. It's not in too bad condition AFAIK.

What would this car be worth if I put an ABD engine in it? Someone should know..
