1991 mk2 golf gti 8v

Royal metallic blue

141k, mot till june.

last summer it had fitted new-- exhaust, main metal coolant pipe,rad,plugs,leads, dizzy,rota arm, battery, recon starter motor here waiting to be put on as current one is noisy, original unmolestered condition.

Interior is very good for a mk2 of this age

Body work is in good condition other then stone chips and and small bit of rust below rear n/s window(5 pence size), Green tinted glass, MFA THAT WORKS,Usual second gear crunch when cold but causes no problems. tourqey engine runs nice. Not a 'mint'er but a very good starting point for a sweet ride.

its got a poloace chip and a powerflow system waiting to go on, not a mk4 i know but these are far more reliable and it gives great fuel economy aswell as being pokey

after something a bit newer mate, unless its a beetle

R Reg Mk4 Polo 1.9 flash red 3 door diesel with i years mot and 6 months tax,was cat c but porfessionally repaired and have photo's of the damage beforehand.110,000 miles and just serviced. will add photo's if you like the sound of it.

Reason for selling/swap, this is the first diesel i've had and i hate it and wished i'd bought another petrol one!! Want £850 for it or a deal, joe

its now up for £1250 on pistonheads,

the 20v has got 2 stage boost mapping at .5 bar and 1.5 bar, on the lower setting which is approx 170bhp its brilliant on fuel, if u take it easy 40+mpg, driving a bit harder maybe 33+mpg, on high boost which is (according to previous owner) 242bhp i dont really worry about the fuel as its not good, but its bloody good fun, however i rarely use it on high boost as u really dont need to. if u can do the conversion yourself then do it, if not then save your money and buy one already done.
