14" Bbs Style Rims On A 6n Will The Bmw Ones Fit?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Looking to buy some cheap alloys to replace the steelies on my 98 6n. I like the idea of some BBs ra style rims and have seen some that were originally on a BMW E30 so the same 4x100 PCD.

Any idea if these are suitable for the 6n? the offset is 30 and 14"x6.5j.

Also most seem to have 185 or 195/65/14 tyres are these going to be too wide / tall?

Thanks

John

anyone?

Alright mate, got a mark two and some 14x6.5s to go on, theyr currently fitted with 185/60s but they are too tall and wide so gna replace them with some 165/60s or if i can find some 175/55s they will be on there if poss :)

these are et38 though, might need spacers for a 6n with et30

i would guess a 185 or 195 65 is probably too big, I'm gna get a little bit of stretch on there to help clear the arches and whatnot which i guess is probably what you'll need to do.

Try www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to see what you can use to match the original tyres as close as possible diameter-wise

Hope this is a little help!
