Featured Replies

Dunno matey, insuring 2 cars is a pipe-dream for me.. but if you can manage it then it'd be good to have a big comfy daily and something nippy for fun.

Mk2 GTi would be top of my list, obvious choice but in a 1 car scenario you cant really go wrong.

Gtir's have gone way up in price recently, if you want fun see if you can find a 306 gti-6, good 175bhp, and a 6speed box!

I'd go for what my brother always goes for, for years he's been obsessed with these

Fiat coupe 20v turbo, 5 cylinder block, so lovely noise, no dump valve as standard, and a nice 230bhp. Can pick these up cheap these days...really cheap! Just an idea

Luke.

ie driven a fiat coupe 20v they are pretty damn fast but fiats are parts bins so reliabilty is fucking shocking. i drove a red one thats why there cheap :D

The 20v non turbos still run 145bhp, with a 5 cylinder engine too.

16vt isn't that bad either, come in different colours some as well! Blitz blue, oooo yeahh :p

Luke.

16v - 142hp - Group 17

16vt - 195hp - group 18

20v - 154hp - group 17

20vt - 220hp - group 19

It's the upkeep though. For example, cambelt replacement is an engine out job.

Corrado?

love the 20v turbo fiats look sweet as!

Corrado?

i did think of one but as i siad i dunno what to get

i can't remember which was the best model of the corrado

VR! or G60

Fix It Again Toni! I've had a couple of FIAT's - would never go there again. 200SX sounds good

nice landy mate

is it stuck there ??

i wouldn't mined a bit of redneck motoring

Why cant you just decide for yourself? Check pistonheads, wikipedia, autotrader, test drive a few and see what you like, then research further and by that time you can afford what you want! No on here knows 100% what you want, so having someone else make a decision for you would be pointless, and if its going to be a while before you buy, chances are your mind will change 100times between now and then anyways!

Anyway, dont get a Fiat. I had a Broom Yellow 97 Punto GT Turbo, only 83k on her and needed a full engine rebuild, then went on fire. Downed me 1500 that car!! :(

No point in buying anything flash id say, if your buying a new car soon anyways, depreciation and all that
