Polished P-slots are on!

Featured Replies

hey guys,

i haven't uploaded any pictures of my polo for ages, just thought i should show what I've been up to. it's only a 1 litre but it's got low mileage and is in pretty good nick. since i got it i have lowered it only 40mm and have purchased some mirror finished p slots, that I'm waiting till summer to put them on. I've got a 16v front bumper currantly in the bodyshop being sprayed so ill be fitting that next week along with foglights (that i won on ebay for 20 quid!!) and i have replaced my backlights with the 16v smoked ones. my plans are to have it lowered a tad more when I've got the money and to get the 16v back bumper, also some metal pressed plates. i know it's only another 6n but tell what you think so far

this is it when i got it, polished and got clear indicators.

this is it now.

this is what I've got planned for it. couldn't bodge the 16v bumper on.

dont mock my photoshop skills

Good work doll, gonna look good on the P-Sluts

haha p sluts, i like it

yeh i wanna lower it to 60mm now, I'm kicking myself for not doing it in the first place!

cheers tho

looks loverly and clean, keep up the good work and in my experience just go for coilovers even if you don't wind them all the way down, its nice to have the adjustabilty and you don't want to be kicking yourself again if you still don't think 60mm is low enough and as you get used to your car being lowered you always want to do it more.

coilies ftw

btw I'm liking the future plans

looks awsome... and polished sluts will look awsome :)

i was planning on polishing ine but now some kid wants to buy them so not gonna bother :D

cheers guys! I'm debating to put wheel spacers on them to make them stick out a tad. what do think?

yeh probably not a bad idae i would get it on coilovers first though and then you can see how much you are going to space them out and then stance away

Got my new wheels on with yokahama A539s! and my 16v bumper... with 8v fogs :ninja: (the guy of ebay told me they were 16v ones and cant get my hands on any!)

I've got some wheel spacers that I'm putting on, 5mm on the back and 3mm on the front, will i need longers wheel nuts??

hope you like

Looking good :) And i wouldnt panic about 8v fogs...they are rarer than 16v

Looking lots better matey!

Wow, thats sweet :]

love them rims, looks sweet on that :]

alex

looking good, you need longer bolts for wheels spacers though

just needs a good smack with the lowering stick now and then your onto a winner

i would also remove the mudflaps to tidy things up abit

Loving the P-Sluts doll  Coming together nicely!
