my friend got a 106 and his 6x9 keep hitting his sub box any way to raise the 6x9 with out making it look shit

make an oval template from MDF that the speaker can sit in and then get it trimmed in a material the same colour as the parcel shelf . I used to be able to buy speaker spacers from my local motorworld but thats gone down the pan too!

car chear some on told me cutting carboard to the same shapr was good aswell

bin the 6x9s, problem solved.

6x9s actually make the sub sound worse, as it moves the air different from the sub.

i think 6 x 9s r crap.

y have 6 x 9s if u dont sit in the back of the car thats my way of thinking of it just get a sub....

i got to go do it today and the kid has brought stick on window tints that he want me to put on lol

how else would you tint windows?

get new glass but they did not come anyway but yeah i put the speacker in the side of the car not in parself shelf then i put in some inside neon he wante dand his head you and subs but its a nice sounding car now lol

6x9's are the work of the DEVIL

maybe crap but i had some when i had my dvd player in. Gave the film soundtrack more depth.

iv got 6x9s only because i wanted my passengers to enjoy the ride (and quite moaning about just hearing the sub) ,I'm nice like that

yeah when we wierd them up gave good all round sound thogh

every time the sub beats, the 6x9's will too but this wont give the same sound so can distort the sound a little.

i've never liked 6x9s

yea theres no point have 6x9s in parcel shelf if you have a sub in the back, The pressure caused by the sub will disort any 6x9s and is a waste.
