Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

My mates got a set of wheels he's selling off his CRX Del Sol, thinking about having them off him and as far as i can see the PCD and offset are alright but is there any other issues with them going on a MK4?

Thanks

i tried fitting my mates wheels once on my mk4, his wheels came off a ek civic.

his wheels were 4x100 and everything seemed to be fine, but for some strange reason the wheels were not sitting on the hub! so i couldnt get em to fit them! and a few of my mates tried aswell and they just wouldnt go on it for some reason.

See i wasn't sure if the bore hole in the middle was a similar size or not.

maybe the center bore is smaller.

a bit like vauxhall wheels on a polo they are 4x100 but the center bore is too small to fit onto the hub.

only a case of getting them bored out a bit!should fit then.

yeah the only thing that was proving to be a problem was the centre bit, it wouldnt go on to sit on the hub.

rob, y dnt you get 1 wheel of your mate and try it on?

Honda centre bore is 56mm VW is 57.

Honda centre bore is 56mm VW is 57.

if it's only 1mm of difference then i'm sure any garage or machine shop should be able to bore them out a bit for you.

not a big job tbh.

Thanks guys.

Yeah i'm going to but he's not getting his new wheels for three weeks so just thought i'd ask! If its only a mm of a difference then i should be able to get the wheel place down the road to sort it out.

1mm out? Dremel it!

yeh just the centre bore is diff
